Dear Friends, here's your chance to be a gift to Saint Elizabeth High School!
This year we have emphasized the fact that we have returned to our roots at Saint Elizabeth High School. Flexible Tuition allows families to submit their tax information to the Private School Aid Service (PSAS), which gives the school an objective evaluation of the amount of tuition the family can afford to pay. St. Elizabeth High School then makes every effort to assign tuition based on this amount. In this way, we accept any qualifying family that desires a quality, Catholic education for their student, regardless of the family’s finances. 95% of the student body at Saint Elizabeth High School receives some form of tuition assistance.
We have many success stories from families who depend on your help. One such family has enrolled their three wonderful children at Saint Elizabeth. One is now a graduate, attending college. The other two siblings are current students, participating in sports and other activities. The youngest is on the honor roll. Their father is a seasonal worker with his own business. The mother cleans houses and sells recyclables. She brings cash to school whenever she can to pay toward the family’s tuition. The family strongly believes in Catholic values and morals, and they do their best to transfer these to their children. They believe that Saint Elizabeth High School is their best partner in this effort. One of the children recently wrote:
My family and I really do appreciate this help, which means a lot to us…I am working hard on my grades, trying to do as much as I can…My GPA is 3.35, and I plan to get a higher one by the end of the year.
Will you help us to provide a quality, Catholic education to these students?
Our Annual Fund Goal this year is $600,000, which represents the amount the school is paying toward Flexible Tuition for our students. We realize that we are asking for sacrificial giving. We are tripling our own efforts, and hope that you will be able to increase your gift.
We know how many of you have received a Saint Elizabeth High School education, or have been touched deeply by someone who has. Catholic education is the responsibility of each one of us. We are proud that 100% of the staff give back to the school. When you dig deep to give a meaningful gift, you receive the gift of knowing YOU are these families’ partner in education. Please know you are continually receiving the gift of grateful prayer from us and from the students.
Blessings and joy,
