Welcome to the Saint Elizabeth High School Science Club
Here you will find information and links to some of the projects we have been involved in over the past school year.
A+ for Energy Grant by British Petroleum for "Alternative Energy Sources"
PURPOSE: This project (AES) has been set up to establish studies in Alternative Energy Sources within the Science Department. It focuses mainly on three sources:
1. Solar Energy
2. Hydrogen Cell Sources
3. Geyser power (like Iceland)
4. Hybrids and alternative vehicles
3. Levitation (hovercraft) vehicles
Our aim is to educate faculty, students, parents and the community outside of our school (by fairs, visits, and the like.)
- We have hovercraft races in the halls (surprising faculty!)
- Run hovercraft and solar cell cars outside in the sun.
- Run/build various "Stirling Engines" which run off heat and air only.
