Saint Elizabeth High School has a "Flexible Tuition Program"
TUITION
For the school year 2011-2012,
the tuition fee ranges from $3,000 to $10,700 a year. The maximum amount of tuition does not cover the full cost of a Catholic school education.
All families who have a student applying or are returning to Saint Elizabeth High School are eligible to apply for Flexible Tuition. Flexible Tuition is a program wherein the amount of tuition a student pays is based on the family’s ability to pay tuition for the student.
There is no fixed tuition for Saint Elizabeth High School. The amount of tuition a student will have to pay a month (over 10 months in the school year) ranges from a minimum of $300 to a maximum of $1,070. The maximum amount of tuition did not increase from last year.
Those families who feel they are unable to pay the maximum tuition of $10,700 and want to apply for a reduced tuition need to submit the forms.
FLEXIBLE TUITION APPLICATION PROCESS
The Flexible Tuition application process has two parts: (1) The Private School Aid Service (PSAS) application and (2) the S.E.H. flexible tuition application. Both application forms are to be submitted directly to St. Elizabeth High School. A $24.00 check or money order, made out to Private School Aid Service MUST be submitted with the application (this is a non-refundable application fee). In addition, families are required to provide a photocopy of their 2011 Federal Income Tax Form 1040 with all appropriate schedules as well as copies of their 2011 W-2’s and 1099s. In case the 2011 income tax has not been filed, you must submit your 2010 or most recent income tax return. For applications that are reported incomplete by PSAS, a flexible tuition amount may not be determined for the student.
New families MUST submit their flexible tuition applications by February 1, 2012; returning families by February 24. If no application for flexible tuition is received, the maximum tuition will be awarded to the student.

Tuition Fee Determination
The final tuition amount is based on the family’s financial need. This is determined from a combination of the PSAS application and the S.E.H. application. There are no maximum or minimum family income limits that affect the amount. Family income is a major consideration, but other factors affecting a family’s ability to pay are also looked at.
Financial assistance would include merit scholarships, FACE (Financial Aid Catholic Education), and outside sponsorships. The financial aid given to students individually are used to fund the flexible tuition program and determine the student’s full-year tuition. The flexible tuition amount awarded to a student is the tuition amount the family is responsible to pay.
