We are delighted that you are considering St. Elizabeth as your next step in education.  Saint Elizabeth High School is an accredited college preparatory school offering a quality education to students in grades nine through twelve.  Founded in 1921, the school is conveniently located near BART in the historic Fruitvale district of Oakland.  We pride ourselves on being a community of “family.”  We are committed to fostering self-esteem and preparing students for college, challenging them to live and proclaim the Gospel message, achieve academic success and secure skills necessary for a life lived according to God’s plan.

Our electives in the arts and sciences provide opportunities for students to explore personal areas of interest and develop as well-rounded persons.  Students are required to complete 260 Semester Units and 100 Hours of Christian Service in four years.  Co-curricular activities and athletics complement the academic program and are a vital part of the total program.  They provide opportunities for students to deepen their faith, develop their individual talents and interests, leadership potential, and social skills.  Student activities include such groups as the National Honor Society, Music Ministry, Campus Ministry, YES Team (Youth Empowerment System), Student Government and other special interest clubs.  Athletic offerings include: football, soccer, volleyball, softball, track, baseball, and basketball.
