Financial Aid

Financial Mission

Saint Elizabeth High School is determined to keep the school accessible to families who have had their child in Catholic elementary schools and wish to continue their Catholic education. We also wish to make our school accessible to any family who wishes a private Catholic school secondary education for their child. Therefore, Saint Elizabeth High School has adopted a Flexible Tuition Program in 2009. The flexible tuition program allows families to pay tuition at a level they can afford.

Question & Answer on Flexible Tuition

Q

Is every S.E.H. family required to submit financial forms?

A

NO, only those families who feel they are unable to pay the full tuition of $10,700 and want to apply for flexible tuition need to submit the forms.

Q

Who is eligible for Flexible Tuition?

A

All families who have a student at or applying to St. Elizabeth High School are eligible to apply for flexible tuition. The process has two parts--the Private School Aid Service (PSAS) application and the SEHS Flexible Tuition application.

Q

How does the school determine the tuition amount per child?

A

The final tuition amount is based on financial need. This is determined from a combination of the PSAS application and the SEHS application. There are no maximum or minimum family income limits that affect the amount. We look at family income as well as other factors affecting a family’s ability to pay.

Q

A

The Family Discount is calculated into the flexible tuition plan.

Q

A

Yes, FACE is calculated into the “flexible tuition award.”

Q

When will a family learn if it has been offered Flexible Tuition?

Freshmen Students - Admissions decision letters sent by mid-March would include a separate response regarding Flexible Tuition. Responses to families will fall into two categories: an offer of Flexible Tuition, or notice why the family has not qualified.
